Alas, nothing constructive done today – ’twas a day of waiting in for the electrician, tidying the house for Christmas (we can see the floor in the kitchen now! I put all the boxes in a big pile!), then out for D’s birthday dinner and home by way of nightmarish failed Christmas shopping at Westfield Stratford. On the plus side, I invested £5 in a 10-minute massage which seemed to temporarily improve the headache that’s been hanging around for nearly a week now. But in terms of Real Work, a total fail. So sorry!
