Potentiality of the interactive 2

Had a thought while reading this article in CTHEORY and listening to 2SER's Cathode Immersions. I was half-reading, half-thinking about the interactive vs the static and I suddenly thought of Hal Hartley's "Flirt" and the way it presents the same story three times over in three completely different contexts - using the same script each time, if I remember correctly, but with parts changing between genders in different situations and providing three completely different viewpoints between the three showings of the same material. A sort of linear interpretation of an interactive concept, perhaps?
