Minim Music & New Media is proud to announce a forthcoming new publication - 2 by 4 by Caitlin Rowley.

2 by 4 continues Rowley's series of "Eggs", short piano pieces appropriate for either public or private performance, and consists of four two-part inventions which can be played on either piano or harpsichord.

While owing a fair amount to the two-part inventions of JS Bach, these pieces are far from pastiche. They show off the simplicity of Rowley's individual musical style to advantage, highlighting counterpoint and allowing the performer to revel in the beauty of the sound of the instrument and individual lines playing off against each other.
