In preparation for the AMC jaunt I discovered that the score for my Remembrances of Half-Forgotten Dead People must have been lost when my hard drive crashed a couple of years ago (no, I haven't looked at it in a while!). Fortunately, I still have the graphics used to create the music pages of the score, so I can recreate it in Finale and make the tweaks I need to but grrrrr... very annoying. However, in hunting around for the original layout files, I did come across a pile of ancient pieces which I'd thought were lost forever, so that was rather satisfying and I'm hoping to trawl through them in a few weeks to see if there's anything worth either acknowledging or reworking.
Anyway, I'm pleased to announce that I have finally managed to get a score to the AMC - the piano version of Pieces of Eight, which should be catalogued as soon as Judith has the time... sometimes takes a few weeks. I'm also planning on dropping in the scores for (en)twine and twelve later this week, and with a bit of luck a CD too.

I went to the Bill Henson photographic exhibition last week, which was somewhat fabulous, although somewhat creepy and overwhelming in places too. Some really awesome work though - quite humbling. I also dropped in on ArtExpress, which had some really superb work this time round.
Didn't make it to The Motorcycle Diaries but I did finally get to see Sideways which comes with my highest recommendation.
Uni went back this week, and I can see now that I'm unlikely to have a life for the next few months - between Introducing Audio Production and New Media Aesthetics, it's going to be pretty full-on. If you're interested, I'm starting a mini blog to cover off my thoughts on the assorted topics we'll be going over dealing largely with new media and sound art. Hopefully, this will help to keep my thoughts somewhat in order as I do my weekly NMA readings and help out with the final essay!
