All the below stands, but I have a couple of additions which I feel warrant a new journal.

Firstly, I have added a number of audio samples to the list of works page of this site, so if you're wondering what it all sounds like, these should give you an idea. I've made a player in Flash for each sound file, which I hope will ensure that most visitors will be able to see & hear the extracts, but which also means I get to take advantage of Flash's pretty good audio compression capabilities. As with everything on the site, if you're having problems, just email me & I'll arrange for you to get the files in a different format.

Secondly, and on a more personal note, I have just acquired a piano - after 4 long instrumentless years - and am busy revisiting the few piano pieces I can actually play (sort of - apologies to Messieurs Satie and Skempton in particular!) with plans for a composing frenzy busily fermenting!
